A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com três mulheres imigrantes do continente africano, compreendendo nacionalidades diferentes, tendo como objetivo conhecer a dinâmica migratória dessas mulheres e, quais os principais desafios encontrados ao chegar em um novo país. ABSTRACT The present study aims to understand how the arrival of African immigrant women in Brazil is, what are their greatest difficulties faced, mainly in the scope of insertion in the labor market. Because they are political subjects seeking new forms of survival, sometimes the trajectory and period of adaptation of African women to the Brazilian territory are controversial, crossed by the difficulty of language, insertion in the formal labor market, by prejudice, among other issues. From this, we look at some aspects of contemporary international migration and, through the South-South migrations, understand the position of Brazil in migratory movements. In studying the theme, we also sought to support Brazilian history, in the formation of our society as a means by which practices and customs were perpetuated until the present day, such as racism, gender relations linked to patriarchy, and racial ethnic relations. The field research was carried out with three women immigrants from the African continent, comprising different nationalities and had as objective to know the migratory dynamics of these women and what the main challenges found when arriving in a new country.
